I HAD A HARD TIME thinking of a good title/URL for this blog, to tell you honestly. Most of the good ones were already taken. I didn’t have a list of titles in mind, actually. I have thought of not-so-cliché song titles, quotes and other shit that is short enough to fit your puny address bar. I almost made wgdtb.tumblr.com as my tumblr URL. WGDTB is a song by a local band, Musical O. A good friend of mine, (let’s name him Yorke from here on. It’s not his real name.) who is cousins with the vocalist, said that it stands for ‘What Girls Do to Boys’. Pretty catchy, ain’t it?

Der Neunte is The Ninth, in German. Why so, you say? Nine is my favorite number, so to say. I’m not fond of favoritism but I go all hypocrital at times. Let’s just say that I like the number nine. And ix.tumblr.com is already taken by some weird-ass Scandinavian dude. 9.tumblr.com is also taken. It would’ve been nice if I managed to get that URL. It’s short. It really is.

The number nine is much more than a number for me. There’s a story behind it, to tell you frankly and I would love to narrate but then, I am not in the mood to do so. Maybe soon. You just don’t force yourself to shit out reason and thoughts just like that. It takes time. Precious time.

And it seems like I am obliged to welcome you guys to this new blog. You guys are welcome here, anytime, though I’m not expecting a lot of people to read this blog with all the lengthy posts, lack of pretty photos and lame reblog-ifs and shit. I’ll be posting more stories, photos and thoughts soon, whenever I feel like it.
